Chicago Section!

November Meeting

Greetings to all!

Please join us Monday November 12th for ASNT Chicago Section's November educational meeting. Stu Kleven of Alloyweld Inspection Company will be presenting on "NDT As Applied to Additively Manufactured Parts for Aerospace Applications." Additive manufacturing is rapidly growing in popularity as a process for complicated parts.  Benefits include improving mechanical properties and tremendous cost savings.  Along with the advancements, come NDT-related considerations though.  New test methods are being investigated to detect smaller discontinuities.  This presentation will address the ASTM F42 and E7 committee efforts to categorize the manufacturing and applicable test methods.

Please RSVP to chuck@kardensales.com or 630-740-6645, by the end of the day,

Thursday November 8th.
