Mission Statement:


The Chicago Section of ASNT is committed to providing our members with high quality relevant information relating to non-destructive testing. 

With our sections experience and dedication, we strive to provide education, training and exposure to new technologies to help keep the NDT community well versed in emerging trends in the NDT marketplace.

ASNT Chicago Section October meeting

Greetings to all!

Please join us for our annual joint meeting with AWS.

The meeting will be held Wednesday, October 11 at Bohemian Crystal - 639 N. Blackhawk Dr. - Westmont.

Social Hour begins at 5:30, with dinner at 6:15, the presentation will begin at 7:00.

The dinner fee will b $20.00 per person.

ASNT Chicago Section's own Stu Kleven will be speaking on "Fabrication and Inspection of Caustic Pump Skid Systems."  Stu will be elaborating on the special process controls and testing requirements in refineries, above and beyond normal fabrication.  Among those controls and requirements, welder qualification, mapping of welders and materials, thickness baseline asurements and positive metal identification of all components.Hope to see you all there!​
